In Episode 2 of Home Truths, we hear from Kevin Cuthbert of Kevin Cuthbert Personal Training

Can you tell us a little bit about what you do for a living?

I am a Gym Owner in Perth, we run a Group Personal Training facility in Ladeside Business Centre, we recently purchased Rodney Fitness Centre, our intention is take our current business model to the building, and further develop our business and offer a bigger and better service to our clients

What was the first job you ever had?

Apart from being a paperboy and selling tablet door to door, I left school at 15 to become a professional footballer.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I'd love to know what spare time is! Right now, with the Rodbey redevelopment, and trying to run my own business, spare time is so difficult to come by!

What’s one bit of advice you have received that still resonates with you?

 No matter what, keep yourself right. If you don't want to do something that's part of your job, don't moan about it, just do it and ask questions if appropriate later, for me professionalism has always been my number one priority. No one can ever question that.

What is your personal definition of success?

Depends what metric you want to go by, for us we are all about helping people and trying to change or better their lives, if we are able to do that no matter how big or small then that's success for me.

If you could go back and give your younger self some words of wisdom what would they be?

Professional football isn't the be all and end all, it'll all be ok in the end.
